Not worth it.

Not very happy with this. The backpack seems to be made out of the same cheap material that blow up kiddie pools are made of. The laptop pocket that's supposed to hold a 15" doesn't come close to fitting my laptop.

Not worth the high price.

Anyone who thinks this is a good quality backpack for it's price is crazy. The materials are cheap, and it's flimsy. I'm so disappointed.
The galaxy poster is printed on nice paper, but is tiny.
The guide is nice, but you're way better off buying the cheaper one. I'm so disappointed with this.

Expensive disappointment. The backpack is super small, made of vinyl, and the stitching is awful - in parts of the bag, the stitching goes completely through the pockets and renders them useless. In other places, it's not reinforced with even zig-zag stitching, and as this is vinyl, those seams are going to self-destruct very fast the minute there's weight in the bag. The 'field journal' is about the size of a pack of playing cards, for scale, and cheap cardstock with a few pages of useless info and then some blank pages to make notes on. My package arrived without the map, the letter, the envelope, etc. I was sad about that, until my friend sent me a picture of the "map" - see below. This is not a map. This is a picture of a galaxy. I had assumed the picture was blocked to prevent spoilers of planet names, but there ARE no planet names, no legend, etc. It's a very pretty picture of a galaxy, but it's not, as described, a map.
The Player's Guide is excellent, full of useful information such as where to find the puzzle glyphs and even solutions for puzzles if you need them. It's huge and glorious and it's the only reason this review gets even 1 star. The fact that I wish I had bought *just* the book and saved myself some $$ is the reason it only gets 1 star.
This was going to be a surprise gift for someone, I am very glad I had it sent to me and not to them directly, considering the missing items and the poor quality of the backpack. Amazon is processing a replacement, we'll see if that one arrives with all the items and with a backpack of better quality.
